It pours clear golden amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is resinous, piney, wet grass, some fruit and sweet hops. Taste is very malty. Some dank and piney hops in the finish. Little citrus/pine needle in the aftertaste. It’s not really that bitter. It’s more like a dull hop on top of some big bold and sweet malts. The carbonation stings a little on the tongue. Otherwise a smooth and medium to full body beer. Oily mouthfeel.

Malzige Aromen, wenig Frucht, kaum Schaum. Erster Schluck irgendwie erwas muffig, dann beim zweiten Schluck doch mit angenehmer Bitterness! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap (flight 3#4) at Brickmasters, Vienna on 14-May-2017 (#4 was Stone Ruination 2.0). Hazy rich amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and pine. Full body and medium carbonation. Taste of caramel, malt, tropical fruit and loaded with floral hops. Passionfruit and pineapple jump around the palate - light bitterness, and more subtle than I expected given the ABV. Very good.

Bottle from Spar in Vienna - Best before 11/12/17. Burnished copper appearance nice tight head but dissipates to a loose ring around the glass, good lacing. Aroma is not prominent, poor in fact, mainly sweet malt, floral, some orange rind, underlying resinous hop. Taste is great though, pinballing through grapefruit, marmalade rind, pine and overripe mango, the malts are sweet, but that touch of caramel is very appealing and tames the bitterness, which for 70 ibus is barely noticeable. Lovely smooth, substantial mouthfeel with good carbonation. I think this is a very nice beer..

Bottle. Pours clear deep golden with large white head. Aroma is caramel, brunt sugar, dried hops and roasted chestnuts. Taste is light sweet and medium to very bitter. Body is light oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and balanced bitter and sweet with notes that follow the nose plus notes of bitter grapefruit, roasted sesame seeds and faint hints of strawberry.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Citric fruity hoppy aroma with notes of orange, blossoms, backed by mildly bready malt. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready and nutty malty taste with moderately fruity, as well as slightly resiny and spicy hops; moderately dry and hop bitter finish with a nutty malty touch and hoppy spice. 14.IV.17

On tap. Golden to amber color, hazy liquid, white head. Dominant aroma is sugar, some oranges in background. Alcohol is not well hidden. Nothing special.
