UPDATED: APR 3, 2019 On tap at Tap House Munich. Dark golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, mild hops, malt and some biscuits. On the sweet side with a fairly bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2019 A very nice IPA for a nice price. Hazy orange color with a nice head. Not as sweet as the Belgian IPA, bolder than the English IPA but not as outrageous as an American IPA.
JOB well done! one51 (351) - - DEC 8, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2018 0.33 bottle in Munich. Amber, nice head. Mild piney citrus aroma. Flavor is dank and piney, mild citrus. Long lasting bitterness that more than balances the remaining sugars, making it pretty dry for a 7.8% beer. One of the great German IPAs of the last few years. snowcrash000 (750) - Cologne, GERMANY - APR 16, 2018
Pours a medium amber, orange coloration with a tiny, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus fruit: tangerine, grapefruit, with a hint of tropical fruit: lychee, mango and pine as well. Taste follows the nose, with a nice balance of biscuity malt and citrus hops: tangerine, grapefruit, complemented by light tropical notes of lychee and mango and just a tiny hint of pine. Finishes with a dry, medium bitterness. The recipe for this was changed in 2015 to only contain German hops and the result is quite impressive, actually. For an IPA by a traditional German brewery, using only German hops, this is surprisingly nice. They seem to be making a big secret of the exact hop bill, but it's probably safe to assume that there is a LOT of Mandarina Bavaria in this. Maybe some Hallertau Blanc? Huell Melon? Who knows, but the result is clearly one of the better German IPAs, good stuff.

Very nice big peach- white head and clear gold copper body. Strong juicy hop aroma with mandarine orange and pineapple in there. Flavour is sweet pamplemousse with a hint of bitterness on the end. A very nice craft IPA, a good change of pace from all these nondescript beers around Berlin. Dorqui (2889) - Brescia, ITALY - FEB 27, 2018
Bottled 0,33L. Light hazy deep orange color, nearly limpid with moderate bubbly aspect and long adherent head duration. very rich and warm aroma, notes of aged grapefruit, mango, mandarin, tropical and hop strong smell. Medium prickly and pale hop taste, intence tropical and riped yellow fruity, soft pine, mandarin, orange peel and strong but equilibrate alcoholic overall palate. Very nice. On tap at Taphouse München. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, peach and apricot. Sweet fruity flavour with a good bitter finish. TorbenJensen (1706) - Valby, DENMARK - DEC 14, 2017
Fine durable foam. Aroma is passion fruit, melon and other tropical fruits. The taste is the same fruits as well as a little pine needle. The aftertaste has some fresh grass, but otherwise it is an easy-to-drink IPA that I think most people would like. Only small minus is that it is German. Germany stands for me as the country with the most delicious lager beers, and a country that master it in full. I know that several German breweries are starting out in the other beer types. Nevertheless, this IPA is very exciting and tasty and I like to taste it again. It is brewed with exclusively German hops, and it has a good depth and elegance in the hops profile. A fruity aroma with some vanilla. The small white foamy head has a normal duration, the body is dark orange. A rather bitter taste, also some fruit. The body is light to medium strong, dry and creamy with a normal carbonation.
