COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The gift of the Golden Pear.

To distract the gods while he stole fire for mortal man, Prometheus threw a Golden Pear into the courtyard of Olympus with the inscription, “For the most beautiful goddess”.

This coveted pear was awarded to Venus, goddess of love, sensuality, and beauty. A goddess of nature, revered at springtime, the bringer of joy to gods and mortals.

Venus Reigns caresses your lips with purity and charm. A soaring achievement of elegance and simplicity. Colfax golden pear wine aged to full maturity in specially selected red wine casks, nished with a gentle kiss of honey.

Before pouring, give a solid bottoms-up tilt and swirl to disperse sediment evenly and best enjoy the complex aroma and bouquet.

Best enjoyed at cellar temperature, 50/55F. With or without 1or 2 ice cubes.

bottle. Very pale straw, almost colorless with small head. The sweetness of the perry with the dry and tart red wine notes are a fantastic combination. The pear comes through well, but the combination yields some berry notes as well. faint oak. I could drink a ton of this.

Bomber. Hazy pale yellow pour with no head. Interesting pear and red wine aroma that works for the most part. Sweet pear taste with a touch of dry late. Decent.

Cool unique cider - never had a blend of pear and red wine, and it works pretty well. Crisp pear and berries and oak on the nose and palate. Body is light, but that’s ok.

Pours clear, light gold into a shaker. No head. Pear and oak aromas. Sweet pear and red wine upfront turns to oak in the dry, lasting finish.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a white wine glass. Hazy yellow with very little head. Aroma is oak with some, medium body, light carbonation, and no lacing. Taste is pear, oak, and some red wine. Pretty good.

Bottle from Beer Run - pours still clear gold. Has a nice sherry, oak, vanilla, and mild pear thing going on.

22oz bottle. Cloudy, sedimented tan hue. Nice, soft pear notes with a complementary wine flavor that blended seamlessly with the cider. Very nice!

mcberko (41802) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 26, 2015
Bottle at PIB 2015, pours a cloudy blonde with an orange tinge and a s white head. Aroma brings out subtle red wine barrels and a touch of dry apple skins. Flavour brings out vanilla, candied sugar, and apples. Not really pronounced on the red wine, but it’s pretty well-balanced. Solid.

Bomber from Beer Run, 5/11/15. Hazy golden. Aroma of dry, zesty pear, tannic wine, hint of pepper. The taste is sweet pear, vanilla, apple, honey, dry red wine in the finish. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Solid.

i enjoy Crispin products, they do do perry’s quite well, but i must say the base got very lost in red wine barrel on this one .. pours a murky ruby amber .. light as can be foam .. red wine, red apple, and hard red skin with barrel .. mild tannins .. mouth is airy with a bit of booze .. while i can see what went into this, not really that enjoyable .. . . baby with an eyepatch. hours of entertainment!
