COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Thatchers Somerset Haze is a cloudy premium cider crafted with Discovery, Falstaff, Gala and Jonagold apples to create a crisp sweet finish. It is the juice of the Jonagold apple that brings a naturally cloudy appearance to this chilled cider.

Tap at the Duke of Oxford. Nose is tart citrusy apple. Palate is watery apple, some lemon. Decent.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2017 Source: Sainsburys - (Bottle) Expectations: a cloudy cider with a crisp sweet finish. Findings: Its what it says on the bottle - I did not feel there was anything else to add. Its feels like it would best be enjoyed chilled on a hot Summers day - rather than a cold wet autumn one. Did it meet my expectations: Yes. Will I drink it again: Maybe served chilled on a hot summers day as it lacks the flavours and after-flavours and faint spiciness for colder times of the year.

Cloudy white green colour with small white foam. Aromas of slight tart gooseberries and sweet apples. Palate, light body with and a thin texture leaving sweet finish. Taste, sweet of green apple chewits and sour candy once sourness wear of a tad. Overall, meh, okay sweet bit too sweet but drinkable.

Fra kran på en restaurant ved havnen i Fowey. Lys tåkete gyllen kropp med et lavt hvitt skumdekke. Innbydende rik eplearoma med treaktige gjærtoner. Frisk og fruktig halvtørr smak. Passende myk karbonering.

Bottle at home picked up from Sainsbury’s/ A translucent pale yellow / pineapple juice coloured pour with a small fizz. Aroma is semi sweet apple, little plastic, mellow funk, kiwi fruit, pineapple. Flavour is medium sweet, crisp apple, weird lager note , slight artificial fruit note. Palate is medium sweet, spritzy carbonation, mellow tang. Pretty ok, chugs pretty good.

Bottle from Morrisons and drunk at home. Hazy almost cloudy pale gold thin white head. Medium sweet carbonated cider. Not much tannin, a little apple character. Otherwise its alcoholic fizzy sweetish apple juice. I was a little disappointed as Thatchers is normally quite interesting whereas this is a little boring.

cloudy yellow, small white head that fizzes away. aroma is apple, sour apple and citrus fruits. flavor is apple juice, a little bit of sourness, and quite some fruity to sugary sweetness. Tastes more like apple juice than cider. might be a decent introduction to cider, but cider fans will probably find this noninteresting

Sampled at Meny Frederiksberg. 50 cl. bottle. Low but quickly disappearing white fluffy head. Thin looking pale green body. Very mild and pretty sweet yet distinct green apples aroma and flavor with a short finish. Better than feared.
