From tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2018. Aroma is softly smoked caramel malt with nice smoked Suchong, notes of herb, ripe fruits and toffee. Sweet with a little bitterness. Body is medium. Nice use of smoked tea, it's full of character but not overpowering. evjoker (82) - - JUN 22, 2018
Was creamy and smoky at the same time. Was pretty delicate too with some nice tea and pretty dry.

At Ushers. Amber color. A little tart, some ueast but also very dry. It seems oxidized. Lack of carbonation. I usually like bfm but this one did not turn out great. DocLock (11546) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 13, 2014
Shared bottle notes. Pours turbid dark brown with khaki head. Nose was malty, syrupy, with tannins, figgy fruit, caramel. Tastes of caramel malt, some smokiness, earthy peaty figs, and a complex finish. phillybass (123) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Amber ale brewed with smoked tea. Has a slightly metallic palate such as Belgian beers may impart. Slightly tart and thus quite refreshing.
