UPDATED: NOV 20, 2022 Bottled 12/19. Yellow, moderate hazy body, with a small, white head. Beautiful, deep aroma of juicy ripe nectarine, earth, overripe fruits, almost like organic waste, slight funk. Tastes similar. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes very fruity, complex, slightly acidic, slightly funky, a bit wooden. Delicious! So characterful, bursting of rich, ripe fruit notes. Propably the best nectarine-foward Sour I've had so far! UPDATED: AUG 30, 2020 Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, funk and stone fruit. Malt and peach flavor with a tart finish.

UPDATED: JUN 9, 2020 Hazy bright orange from the bottle. Exactly what I hoped it would be. Heavily fruited, but with a lambic cheesy funk that cuts right through the fruit, while both complimenting each other. a masterpiece. 4.5+

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2020 Bottle from Maplewood Liquors in San Jose, CA. Aroma is mild funk, oak, fuzzy nectarine funk. Taste is tart, oaky, earthy, mineral...very balanced, not especially sour and especially drinkable.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2019 Sample during the 'Pretend It’s Oregon: A De Garde Tasting Extravaganza' on 07/27/2019. Cloudy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of nectarine, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, tart nectarine, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is oaky and tart with a nectarine aftertaste. Good beer overall.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2019 Tap @ De Garde Brewery, Tillamook. Pours opaque nectarine pulp orange. Vibrant nectarine aroma, continuing to taste with a great juicy nectartine stonefruit character, brightly carbonated with a good sharp acidity and nice wild moments. Very good indeed.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2019 Thanks Virby44 for sharing! Stem glass showing deep gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows intense clean and juicy notes of new nectarine. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. De Garde's distinct high acidity and high tartness with juicy nectarine forward flavors.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2019 Bottle at share. Hazy, milky pour, pale golden , relatively flat. Big stone fruit aroma, light tartness. Bright, sharp nectarine flavors, tartness is instant, but levels off. Excellent.

Aroma of funky nectarine, fruit pit. 8+ Flavour is quite sour and acidic, but there's a good amount of fruit, nectarine, hints at stone fruit pits at times. 8+ Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Murky yellow colour, like peach juice. Aroma of peach juice (nectarine) and sour. Aggressively sour, not fery deep or complex, but it has a clear nectarine character.
Very good.
