DutchDrebus (6002) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2017
Bottle @ home. Hazy dark amber colour with a medium sized offwhite head. Smells hops, sweet, slightly pine and resin. Tastes hops, sweet (but not as cloyingly sweet as some other beers in this style), bitter. Lasting taste, full body, nice carbo. Great double ipa.

joergen (28164) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 22, 2017
Draught at Taphouse. Hazy ruby colored with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and hops with notes of pine needles and dried fruits. Fruity flavor of caramel and hops with notes of pine needles. Hoppy finish.

23.03.2017, 0,33l bottle shared with friends @ local tasting:
Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, sap, grass, sugar, alcohol, old leafs, worth, sawdust, minerals, paper, weeds, harsh hops. Taste is slightly sweet medical, sugar, sap, weeds, bark, old leafs, alcohol, harsh hops, paper, cardboard. Medium bitterness, harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2017
Bottle. Dark caramel body, small off-white head. Nose is caramel, almond essence, fruity esters, red fruits and hints of alcohol, grains and grass. Taste is licorice, caramel, pine, resin, earthy leaves and hints of alcohol, fusel and toffee. Medium body and carbonation. Seems faded, and too boozy in the first place, lacking body. Not very impressive.

caesar (7156) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 18, 2017
Tap @ van Moll, 10 cl sample. Almost clear amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of some citrus and pine, quite some caramel and toffee. Quite sweet caramel and toffee in taste, some grapefruity bitterness. Too sweet for my liking.

DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2017
First Spanish craft, 08/02/16.Brewed by Americans. At least it doesn’t taste of throat sweets. Good soapy floral aroma with blackcurrant, juicy orange rind, strawberry and earthy citrus coffee bean. Opaque mahogany capped with beige. Hot gritty, oddly roasted chicory bitter undercurrents overlaid with floral hop, plummy fruit, grenadine, apple and bramble. Pungent like a yeasty Belgian with a smattering of US hops. Eccentric and rustic. Flowers, Quality Street strawberry creams and coffee reminiscent of BrewDog Nanny State- a mad comparison to be making with a 9.2 percenter. Feels sweeter than the declared IBUs which is a tribute to its balance. Messes with the template of what a DIPA should taste like, which can only be applauded. A grower.

TychoJames (1311) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2017
Fat bishops örebro. Rödbrun kulör. Djup och mustig doft. Barr och ceder. Maltig smak med träig känsla. Karamellig med torkad frukt. Kraftfull munkänsla med torr avslutning

SebBrews (183) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - FEB 6, 2017
Pours opaque redish dark brown with small, non-lasting beige head. Caramel malts, biscuits and fruity hops in the nose. Taste starts with sweet with caramel malts nicely counterbalanced by bitter hops towards the end. Notes of pine resin and yeast. Full bodied, low carbonation, bitter, astringent finish. Good DIPA, with the malty character resembling a lighter barleywine.
