Bottle shared. Very nice for the 4.2 abv, dark caramel gently smoked. Not sure what the issue was with previous raters but this bottle seems quite fine. beerplace (4177) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 1, 2016
330ml bottle at Matt’s. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is flowery, grassy with some smoked notes. Taste is grassy, with smoked notes, but to7gh and not pleasant. Burnt malt aftertaste. Meh. mcberko (27458) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 30, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2016 330mL bottle, pours a filthy dark brown with a small beige head, with a big yeast soup. Aroma is nasty, with ash, fire pit smoke and even some tartness. Flavour is earthy, smoky and certainly infected, with ash, fire pit smoke, dirt, some tartness and dirty yeast. I guess I see what they were going for, but this is a huge mess. Undrinkable. sir__v (2641) - FRANCE - APR 23, 2016
Bottle from La Moustache Blanche, Paris - FR. Color: dark black beer with brown reflection no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: smoked malt attack, very intensive smoked ham and smoked wood nose. Small roasted malt. Taste: light body with smoked and roasted malt taste. Very intensive smoked notes, quick clean by astringent saison yeast. Very interesting beer. Superb concept and very imaginative, but not easy drinkable to intensive and complex flavor for a high drinkability. Aftertaste: roasted and smoked notes, astringent and bitterness. Good beer but to complex ! Nice batch :) daje (4910) - NORWAY - APR 13, 2016
On tap at Haand Festival 2015. Dak brown body, small beige head. Aroma is quite heavy smoked, some perfumed hops. Taste is smoked ham, dough, weak fruity. The smoke dominates a bit, can’t really sense mush of the saison in this one. Still a good beer, I like smoked beers. So no complaints.

Un côté fumé très présent. Trop ? ...
Ultradypbrun. Lavt skum Litt røyk i aromaen. Smaken bare røyk & bacon. Kjedelig - men sikkert utmerket til en del kjøttretter. gunnfryd (16731) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 3, 2015

Brown with an off white head - Smoked malt aroma - Smoked malt body with some caramel and some bitterness - Smoked malt finish goes into the finish - This was ok Scopey (19556) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - OCT 24, 2015
Bottle from La Cave a Bulles. It pours cloudy deep red-brown with a small off- white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, perhaps too sweet, oily, sweet smoke, ham and cola. The taste is rather bitter, charred wood, charcoal, smoked meats, some astringency, burnt roast, ash, toast and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit too dry and charred overall. So-so.
