Bottle 330 ml from Beerwulf. Aromas of malts, sour fruit and yeast. Can't say for sure whether I can sense the strawberries in the aromas, but sure there is something fruity. Clear amber-golden body and some white head. Taste-wise, definitely strawberries in it. Sour notes of malts, strawberries and yeast. I am positively surprised as this is not actually bad, but not really my pint of beer.

On tap at Jericho Tavern, Oxford. Pours a pale and clear yellow gold with a feint pink tinge. Aroma: strawberries, grass, mild raspberries, lemon notes. Pleasant aroma. Taste: lemon, grain, mild strawberry and floral flavours. Citrus hits the palate with a disappointingly mild strawberry flavour afterwards. Thin bodied. Moderate to high carbonation. Overcarbonated by my reckoning. Mildly tart. This beer smelt great but was otherwise average.

Keg at the Salisbury Arms. A slight pinkness to the beer, or was that my imagination? The taste was dominated by strawberries, which was unsurprising. It was a fresh fruity taste rather than something artificial which is what you get with so many of the fruity beers. It was also well integrated into the beer. Overall it wasn't my thing because of the fruity sweetness.

Keg at Rose and Thistle, Frimley. Strawberry aroma - a sweet edge giving it a confectionary element. Marmalade amber in colour. Pretty much no head. Sour. The strawberry comes through. It's a strawberry blonde ale and I guess it does taste like a golden ale with added strawberry juice. Although without any real sweetness. Light bodied. Thin but some slickness to it. Average carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. It's OK. Refreshing but kinda basic.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2018 Jolie couleur blonde foncée un peu rouge, saveur fraise acidulée non sucrée, on peut être charmé ou non. Pas amère, pas très douce non plus, plutôt acide, pas très harmonieux au total.

13-02-2018; bottle; at home (bought at Saveur Bière, as part of their February 2018 discovery box). The looks of the beer are fine. The beer has a nice golden yellow colour with a lovely red glow. The strawberry is already visible. Nice small gas bubbles are rising towards the top. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft slightly off-white foam is formed. Foam retention is average. A nice soft drape is left after a while. The smell of the beer is rather mild. To mild, for my liking. It should have been stronger. There are some touches of sweet malts. Not to strong...but they are there. On top of this, there is a strawberry aroma. Sweet, fruity and also with a slight sour fruity note. Nice, but it is so mild. It should be stronger. Hops aren't clearly present. Could be stronger. The taste of the beer is stronger. Again, some sweet malts are present. On top of this, there are nice fruity touches of strawberry. Sweet, with a nice fresh sour touch. It seams yeast also gives some slight sour notes. Hops aren't strong. They join in the fruity sours and also give some bitter hop notes. But, hops aren't to strong. The palate of the beer is fine. The body is medium and the texture a bit sticky. Carbonation is medium high. The finish of the beer ain't that long. It has some nice strawberry touches and in the end it has a nice...I don't know, somehow creamy touch. It is nice. Some dry tart touches are also in the finish. All in all, a nice beer, but not as strong as I hoped. Especially the smell should be a bit stronger.

Overraskende pale, hvis sølle hoved Smager af pilsner malt, med en skjult bagnote af jordbær Aroma af jordbær Pudset smag, ikke som forventet Mangler sødme

330ml bottle. Pours hazy red orange. Strawberry, pepper, bread, lemon, orange peel, little astringency, nice sourness. Quite high carbonation which works with some of the flavour but not all the yeast notes, so on the fence with the palate. A good beer all round.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly diminishing head. Unclear orange colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter and light sweet flavor. Some strawberry notes. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.
