COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A year after the launch of Bushy’s Gibraltar Barbary Beer in the colony, signs show that the brew - a partnership between the Manx brewers and the Gibraltarian Importers, Lewis Stagnetto, is proving highly popular with locals and visitors alike. Bushy’s boss Martin has recently fostered links, after an epic drive through France and Spain with wife, Debbie, with the Botanical gardens on the colony and they are growing hops for the next brew. It is believed that this coming brew will be the first ever beer to contain hops grown on Gibraltar. In the meantime, a special limited edition beer will be available on the rock to mark the 300th anniversary of the British Colony which is being celebrated throughout 2004.

Fra flaske på fellestreff RBHD/Bryne Fråholdslag, Bryne aug-17: nesten helt klar kobber med kort skum. Syrlig maltaroma og -smak fullstendig uten britisk sjarme. Utterly boring and completely without British charm.

From bottle at shared tasting at Bryne with RB/HD and Bryne fråhaldslag 18.08.17. Clear golden. Small white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grass. Similar taste. A hint of malt sourness. A bit waterish

Fra 0,5 l flaske på RBHD-samling hos/på Bryne. Disig rødlig gyllen kropp med lys ring langs kanten. Lukter vørter. Smaker søtt på grensen til honning, med innslag av våt papp. Noe fylde.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Golden colour. Boring grainy aroma and flavour. Gibraltar has deserved a better beer than this, and Bushy’s can do better.

Eructoblaster (4267) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 3, 2017
Bottle - 500ml. Pours an amber body with a thin, lasting, off-white frothy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with grainy, nutty, and brown sugar hints. Its malty/hoppy taste carries grainy/woody notes and ends with a decent woody finish. Drinkable. Thanks Patman for this rare bottle.

500 ml. bottle. Pours a clear golden amber with a decent beige head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is similar. On the sweet side. Hints of floral. Decent enough.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2017 500ml bottle (Koht Birthday Auction 2017, Tallinn)
Weak gluey malty aroma. Sweet pale malts (pilsner malt) taste. Nice woodiness, oxidised, but to my tastes. Maybe a bit mushroomy. Artificial sweetener bitterness. Thin palate. Nut-papery finish. Definitely oxidised. Very much a mess, but not a horror.

Juks (757) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 30, 2017
500ml bottle, thanks FatPhil. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, flowery, grainy, green tea, caramelly. Taste is sweetish, caramelly, kinda watery, some fruits, cardboard. Bitter, dry finish. Medium bodied, average carbo. Boring brew, meh.
