Flaske 33cl på Skarven. Aroma hvetemalt, krydder, noe fruktnyanser. Utseende tåkete gylden med hvitt skum. Smak sitrus, hvetemalt, banan, krydder. En frisk og god saison med behagelig fruktig ettersmak. En av de bedre saison. ---

(Borg Leifur Nr. 32) Tap 250ml at Stoom, Nijmegen. Deep orange colour on the body, clear, small and thick white head on top, good retention. Aroma has caramel, oranges, marmalade. Taste has citrus, orange, marmalade, floral notes and light yeast. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Good.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Tap. Clear dark gold body with a one finger wispy beige head. The nose is fruity and lightly hoppy with some malt sweetness and a gentle spice. The flavor is a little spicy with some sweet caramel malt, a light farmhouse character, a hint of an herbal quality on the finish. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering finish. Decent saison, maybe a touch heavy on the malt for my preference in the style.

monk191 (1959) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 21, 2017
A very nice Saison overall. Pours a bright cloudy orange with a white head. Smells of lemon, orange and herbs. Taste is very lemony, with orange, herbs, and cinnamon. Bright finish. Had in the bottle in Iceland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

solidfunk (8838) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 24, 2017
Underrated like the population of Hellnar according to the guidebook. Florals and some thyme. Hazy golden pour with decent head. Sweet finish. Bottle.

adamnowek (2639) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 30, 2017
Clear brass colour. No head. Aroma is passionfruit and black pepper. Taste is somewhat spicy with a bit of rye.

Vighals (3912) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - MAR 17, 2017
Gylden brun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter sitrusskall og korn. Middels fylde. Middels bitter. Sitrus, høy og en del alkohol.

Frudel (252) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 11, 2017
Bottle in Iceland. Backlog. the bottle pours a golden/orange liquid with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, orange, wheat, peppery. Sightly dry, heavily carbonated. Peppery, belgian saison yeast, fruity esters, quite decent. Crisp on the tongue with the fizzy texture.

Brettsky06 (417) - Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 24, 2017
Hazy yellow color, thick white head. Bit of funk in the aroma. Taste is quite carbonated. Bit of pepper and funk notes.

sulawang (1154) - - FEB 18, 2017
Visual: Pours bright marmalade orange with a smallish dissipating head, ringed with spotty island retention, clusters of micro steady streams.

Nose: heavy honeyed barley malt. (lvl-6)-pungency

Attack: crisp bite, light tingly-fizz, dense honey malt impression

Mid-palate: honey-chamomile, (lvl-5-sweetness), almost salty, slight tanginess, light candi barley malt

Finish: residual honeyed barley malt

Summary: This drinks more like a Belgian tripel with it’s chamomile honey profile as opposed to the banana-citrusy wheat malt I usually find in typical saisons. There’s also a bit of saltiness in the mids which I found distracting.
