Mads Langtved (2240) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2005
Quite boring and thin, even for a schwarzbier. No head. Finish is malty and watery. It is a bit unpleasant.

Ungstrup (41960) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2004
A very dark brown beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor. A lovely drinking beer.

Pours a deep brown beer with an airy light tan head. Roasted and grassy aroma. Malt, chocolate and brown sugar flavor. Mostly sweet with bitter flower and hop tones. Nice and tasty! Thanks a lot for this one Per (omhper).

Bottled. Light brown. Good old Nynäs nose(the yeast?). Light roasted malt flavour, a bit sweetish with a nice smooth mouthfeel.

A hard to define beer. Too sweet for a dark lager, not enough burned for a Schwartzbier, not enough hops for... well, any beer. A hint of lactose is also present. If more it might have passed as a milk stout... Knowing the brewers, I m sure the brew will change somewhat in near future. (It’s a very small brewery).
