Draft at Dutch’s from notes. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have lightly toasted pale malts, lemon citrus, hints of grapefruit, floral notes, a small amount of peppery spice, mild to moderate bitterness, nice APA.

Sample at the brewpub as part of Ohio Brew Week. Slightly hazy copper-orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at Yellow Springs Brewery. Pours a hazy but bright pale yellow-gold with a small white head that settles into a ring and leaves some trailing lace. Really bright and refreshing: lots of lemon, lemongrass, faint pepper, pale malts, hay, floral zest, a bit of grapefruit peel. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, bitter, refreshing mouthfeel. Excellent APA. These two should keep getting together.

Tap. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy complex citrus hop aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew.

On draft at Jackie O’s. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Wonderfully hazy. Nose is some floral, citrus, and nice grassy hops with a hint of caramel. Flavor is similar- light floral, citrus, and grassy hops, a mild malt presence, and a wonderfully delicate pale ale.

On tap at Jackie O’s on 7/1/15. Hazy gold pour with a thick white head. Aroma of piney hop, malt and grapefruit. Malty flavor giving way to pine and onion hoppiness before a bitter grapefruit finish.

On tap at Dutch’s. One of the first pours from the keg... Pours a very bright yellow golden color, totally hazy. Thin white head with good retention, leaving great splotches and thicker ropes of lace. Very nice kind of zesty, lemony aroma. Lemongrass, spicy pepperiness. Bit of grapefruit citrus. Interesting kind of peppery yeast character, it seems. Medium body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick texture. Lighter sweet taste, moderate bitter. Great pale ale. Zesty and refreshing.
