Part of a blind tasting at K&L in Redwood City. This came in 8th of 8 for me. Semi-hazy orange. Full semi-white head. Light fruit, soap and wildflower.

37,5cl bottle at home. Appearance: hazy dark straw with medium, fast dissipating, white head. Aroma: sour green apple, funky, white grapes, grandma's attic. Taste: medium sweetness, low bitterness and fairly high tartness. Notes of green apple, white grapes, dusty and limejuice. Palate: medium bodied, watery texture and lively carbonation ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BOTTLE 37,5 CL. Clear deep gold, white head. Nice juicy barnyard funk with fruity notes, some cider / vinegar. Some mold? The taste is moderate to heavy sour, strong lactic, green fruit acidity, green apricot stone bitterness.

Maersk (272) - MOLDOVA - JUL 12, 2017
Clear golden, small head. Sweet/ tart aroma with some apple cider, vinegar notes. Crisp, refreshing, clean tart taste. Medium body, good carbonation. Drinkable. Not my type though.

MatiF96 (217) - POLAND - JUL 5, 2017
Finisz wytrawny. Przyjemne, złożone

37.5 l bottle serve cool in a tasting tulip at home. Hazy brown with a white head fading to a skim. Tart apple and lemon barley aroma. Funky dry cider, lactic blue cheese, more tart apple and marmite licked of a knife flavour Woody notes, dry as a bone finish. Complex, one is enough though.

lesifflebiere (1887) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 21, 2017

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 23E). Bottle 37.5 cl (bottled on 14.JUL.2016 - BBF 14.JUL.2022). AROMA: medium sour aroma with medium-high barnyard, goaty and horsey. low fruitiness (citrus). faint oak note. APPEARANCE: golden color and clear. medium white head, moussy, with medium-high retention. TASTE: medium sour flavor with citric notes and barnyard characteristics. faint cork flavor and oak notes. slight malt sweetness on the background (almost faint). sourness in place of bitterness. PALATE: medium-light to light body with a tartaric character. medium-high carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice Gueuze a bit balanced to the sourness.

Bottle from 100 piv. Tartness in aroma, yeast, green apple, spice. small white head, falling very fast. Hazy golden color. Very dry beer as I like from lambics, high carbonation. Citrus fruit sourness, taste a lot as a champagne, little bit of green apple as aftertaste. I really enjoyed this piece.

Derbeth (947) - Kraków, POLAND - JUN 16, 2017
Bottle. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is herbs, some green apple. Very sour. Not very complex in taste.
