A: banana, pear, honey, biscuit, dough, wheat. T: sweet banana, apple, sourish lemon, bread dough. F: floral hops, ripe yellow fruit, bit spicy. P: medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Adequately balanced, plain good.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2023 Ins Glas gelassen präsentiert das Wieninger Weißbier eine unspektakuläre goldgelbe Farbe. Die Schäumung fällt recht üppig und cremig aus, allerdings ist sie alles andere als beständig. Es duftet angenehm zitrusfruchtig und hefig, dazu kommt etwas überreife Banane. Der Antrunk fällt fein säuerlich und cremig weich aus, mit der Kohlensäure hat man es wahrlich nicht übertrieben. Ein schlanker Körper mit leichten Zitrus- und überreifem Birne-Aromen gibt sich zu erkennen. Der Körper besitzt ein ausbaufähiges Malzfundament, daneben zieht geschmacklich die Hefe durchgängig ihre Kreise. Im Abgang gewinnt eine säuerliche, zitrusfruchtige Komponente die Oberhand. Ein erfrischendes und erfreulich lauffähiges Weißbier, dass jedoch etwas mehr Fülle verdient gehabt hätte.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2023 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into weizen glass. Appearance: Hazy pale orange colour, rich head; “old-school” label. Aroma: Yeast, wheat, malt. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation. Taste: Yeast, wheat, malt, hint of banana, hint of cloves. Overall impression: Easy and drinkable, tasty, aromatic, unobtrusive.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2023 0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen.Cloudy golden with a more than two finger white foamy head. Yeast, banana and wheat on the nose, as expected. Taste starts with more wheat, little bit dry, orange background. Wheat and increasing yeast to the end. Nice one. Standard in Bavaraia.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2022 Bottled at 5.3% ABV. Appearance: cloudy gold with a moderate white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: banana, clove, wheat bread. Taste: bready, light sweet. Wheat, banana, less clove. Hop traces. Mouth feel: medium body, average carbonation. Overall: ok weizen.

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2022 Banana is not open, fruits are weak, cloves are medium, yeast. The body is not watery but not dense either, the sweetness is below moderate (which is very good) light bread. good hopping at the end. Slightly higher than the budget versions, but pale against the background of the classics.

W aromacie mocno bananowe, goździk, przechodzący trochę w szpitalne nuty, owocowe estry, mocno słodki. W smaku bananowe, mocno goździkowo-przyprawowe, lekko słodkawe i kwaskowe, drożdżowe. Wysycenie średnie jak na styl, goryczka wyczuwalna, lekka do średniej, pełnia średnia do wysokiej.
