A peculiar take on ginger beer. Brewed with substantial amount of lightly caramelized malts, ginger, Goldings hops and pinch of peppermint for a refreshing finish.

Smaken mintsjokolade. Merkelig. Blir vel søt.

330ml swing-top bottle kindly shared by TheCellarer and Snegurochka. Clear amber body. Filmy layer, spotty lacing. Ginger nose, dry. Perfumed taste of ginger, bubblegum, and mint. Ends with a ginger touch. Drinkable. (Session with Snegurochka, TheCellarer and Finn, Tårnrommet, Tromsø 14.11.2017).

Borefts VIII. Day 2. Keg. Hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Light crisp palate. Smooth light sweetish malts. Ginger bread and light fruits. Smooth light mint. Crisp finish. Unusual and tasty, kinda the hallmark of this brewery.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is ginger peppermint. The flavour is big ginger with a light yeasty ginger and peppermint palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I really don’t know how to rate this. It really threw me. It was surprisingly good though.
