Goede frambozenbier met flink wat alcohol, als ik naar andere frambozenbiertjes kijk. Lekkere volle frisse frambozensmaak, doet het goed als aperitief.

From old tasting notes. Hazy, pinkish copper color.msmall white head. Sweet, yeasty red fruit aroma. Tart fruity malt flavor has obvious berry overtones. Fruit flavor is on the tart side.

Deep red with a frothy light pink head. Aromas of raspberry syrup is overwhelmingly dominating. Soft carbonation, rather slick with a light body. Light acidity unfortunately overpowered by syrup sweetness. Clogging finish.

Schöne leicht rötliche Farbe, schwacher Schaum, süßlich herber Himbeerduft, Geschmack schöne leicht säuerliche Himbeere

Big ass bottle @ Bill’s 40th birthday party. Pinkish red appearance with a thin head. Some berries, light funk, tons of dust. There’s a hint of butter. Light citrus. Goopy cough syrup note. Kind of thick mouth feel. This was from 1991, so obviously that should be taken into account but none of Belle-Vue’s products have ever impressed me, so I’m not surprised I didn’t like this one all that well.

From 3L at the Barrel Cellar for Bills 40th. Thanks man! 1991 vintage. Pour is super murky brown win no head and no lacing. Cardboard, caramel, bread, somewhat jammy, raspberry skins, fruit peels, and oak in the aroma. Taste is artificial raspberries, cough syrup, caramel, bread, slightly oaky, and floral. Slick mouthfeel with no carbonation. Not good.

Bottle shared by omhper, thanks. Lasting pink head. Same color and sparkle as a pink champagne. Sweet and fruity aroma from the raspberries, very natural. A bit of residual sweetness from the raspberries that is too much if you intend to drink more than 1 glass. A good learning beer for people that don’t like bitter beers.

Bottle @ home. Pink colour, some foam. Lively carbonation. Sweet aroma of candy with light tart notes. Some artificial flavours. Not very good.

I am not very fond of Fruit beer but this one was a surprise because of its consistency in flavour and aroma, carbonation and head. A good beer when you are tired of the regular ones.
