from Au Grain dOrge, Neuchtel - translucide amber-orange beer with a persistent pale beige foam; sourish nose with notes of melon, a bit phenolic; over-carbonated, medium-bodied, light salty and fairly sour; quite dry and fizzy aftertaste of quinces and cherries - low drinkability

A pretty good beer, but not quite their best. Light, thin, and tart. The aroma is a little lemony. Thin bodied.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours hazy red pink color with large frothy pinkish head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is vinous, yeasty and citric. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy and citric with sour cherry note, following is vinous, chalky and grassy, mouthfeel is dry and crisp while finish is mild bitter. Light body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Refreshing and tart...

Bottled 22.09.2015. Bb 22.09.2017. Pinkish colour. Thin line of white froth around the glass. Hints of rose wine, strawberries and redcurrants in the aroma. Slightly acidic beginning. Hints of rose wine and berries. Slightly sweet, still sour, wine-like finish. Not as sour I would have expected, but quite well balanced beer. Maybe does not have that acidic straightfoward crispiness, which one would expect from berliner weisse. Otherwise descent brew.

33cl bottle at home from Biernavigatie.nl. Nose is light fruity, body is opalescent deep orange ruby, head is small, white, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma is raspberry, honey, light citrus. Medium to heavy sweet, medium to heavy fruity sour. Finish is medium lasting fruity medium sweet-sour. Light to medium body, slightly sticky texture, soft carbonation. Easy, refreshing fruity beer, quite simple, not my taste.
