Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, pine, wood, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

On tap @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels - BE. Color: deep dark black beer with no carbonation and medium ivory brown head. Smell: roasted malt, coffee and grassy hops notes. Taste: medium body with roasted malt, caramel and coffee notes balanced with grassy hops. Fresh and balanced. Easy drinkable. Good attenuation. Aftertaste: coffee, roasted malt, grassy and wet bitterness.
