Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, candy sugar, orange peel, spicy yeast, pistachio, phenolic yeast, maybe even the nutmeg. Taste is candy, raisins, chocolate, plums, orange peel and spices again. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Decent, the aroma is very phenolic though - paint thinner style.

Godt håndværk, med masser af smag og god alkohol volumen, som ikke trænger igennem.

pentaz (1378) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 23, 2017
Bottle. Pours brown with a medium sized foamy beige head. Aroma is bubblegum, toffee, nutmeg and dark sugar. Taste is mild sweet and bitter. Body is thin, texture is oily/watery, carbonation is somewhat low. Finishes mild sweet with lingering coriander. Very mild brew - for the abv. more flavor is expected.

2017.12.05: Aroma of caramel, chocolate and herbs. Dark/brown appearance. Medium-high sweetness and light-medium bitterness. A good Belgian Christmas ale from Mikkeller.
