Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 17, 2017
courtesy of Antonio Rey - very dark brown beer with a poor head retention; toasted aroma of black chocolate, vanilla and nuts; low carbonation, sweet and full-bodied; lot of chocolate and vanilla in a long finish

Hermod (8194) - Vantaa, FINLAND - SEP 23, 2017
Bottle @Stadin panimobaari. Poured near black with a thick off white head. Roastedness, hops, some grapefruit. Flavor has citrusy hops, grapefruit, roasted malt. Dry finish.

Serapac (540) - CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 10, 2017
Bottle from the BXLBeerFest. Somebody probably managed to turn the bottle upside down a few times, completely spoiling the opening and pouring - dark brown with a huge nasty looking bubbly head. Aroma coffee, a touch of anise, wood. Medium full body well balancing sweet and bitter elements. The anise feel comes back in the finish.

Flanfl (816) - Lyon, FRANCE - AUG 30, 2017
Black body, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, similar flavours. Medium bitter coffee finish. Fairly simple, closer to a stout than a "strong porter" ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bartholos (269) - GERMANY - AUG 19, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 Bottle. Pitch black colored, opaque and with a full frothy brown head. Full roasted nose mostly coffee notes along with licorice, caramel and slight smoky touch. Good balance of a medium sweet foundation and medium to strong bitter dry finish. Thick body but not too oily, with light carbonation and a creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor gains quite some fruity notes mostly berries and cherry with caramel and sherry while the licorice becomes more noticable. Roasted notes and coffee stay back. There is also a peppery, alcoholic note coming through that furthermore adds a slight warmth. Leaves a medium strong bitter dry aftertaste that keeps some of the roasted flavors and a light sweetness.

Kittenbieer (247) - LYON, FRANCE - AUG 11, 2017
