Bright clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a good fine crispness. Light malts bring a touch of rye tang and a whisper of caramel. Galaxy hops went through on stilts. Mild tangy orange and a little peel, could be any hop really! Light semi dry finish. Itís clean and crisp and drinkable but I wish Fullers would get with the programme.

On tap. Amber color, clear liquid, white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is bitter, sweet and light sour. It has that typical British spot, which is not good in general. Not very good.

Bottle at home from Waitrose. A nice clear reddy copper coloured pour with a a fading lose beige head. Aroma is nice nutty malts, tangy berries, fresh brown bread, dried fruits, raisin bread. Flavour is nice layered malts, semi sweet caramel, nutty and a light note of bitter liquorice. Faint dried fruits and woodland berries. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Decent .

Bottle. Light amber, small and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish aroma, some caramel and light floral fruitiness, light herbal hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light - some caramel and faint floral fruitiness, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and bread, faint floral fruitiness and metal, light herbal hoppyness. I get more caramel than rye/bread. Finish has notes of metal - lacks fruitiness. Really nothing special.
