Bottle from a trade with CH-303, thanks! Aroma is softly roasted malt and chocolate with a touch of fruity hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. Pretty tasty with a good chocolate malt profile, could have used more hops though, it’s more of a hoppy Stout.

Bottle from trade with Ch-303, many thanks. Dark brown color with huge light beige head. Aroma of light coffee, citrus hops. Light coffee, roasted malt, citrus hops, zest. Medium long light hoppy bitter finish. Good, however I wish there would be more hops.

@Festival des brasseries artisanales de Fribourg - dark - almost black beer with a little beige foam left; toasted with notes of coffee and licorice; a good malt backbone, a light malt sweeness, fairly bitter, spicy with notes of prunes and toasted coffee - very nice

MarkoNm (2884) - Novo mesto, SLOVENIA - APR 5, 2016
Pours a black color, topped with a medium sized beige head, ok retention. Nice hoppy aroma with sweet fruits. Some mild roasty presence in the back. Moderate bitterness with citrusy presence quite noticeable. Dry finish. Medium body, though a bit more on the light side. A decent BIPA, though no fireworks.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours murk dark brown with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and spruce. Taste of mild dark roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, mild bitter hops, good stuff!

Erzengel (9348) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2016
Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle! Great dark and floral beginning. Interesting hop-profile: pine, resin, but in the minty-direction (without Polaris used here). Nice chocolate roasted body with hints of caramel and milk-chocolate. The floral piney hops are great and dominant, the aftertaste is long, round and smooth-dry. Nice stuff!

CH-303 (2338) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - DEC 21, 2015
Appearance: Very dark brown, some dark tan head.
Aroma: Hops, slight malt and roasted.
Taste: Lots of hops, strong bitterness. Malt there to balance it all. Slightly roasted. Good stuff.
