salvaticas (1282) - - NOV 30, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2019 Can pour. Pours a classic New England haze. Incredible bright citrus on the nose. Medium light body with some bitterness. Very nice.

HippyHop (1121) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 10, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2019 16oz can. Lots of ripe orange tropical fruits, grapefruit-y citrus rind, a good dose of sugar, some orange juice. It's rich and sweet, though somehow not cloying, and there's definitely some booze warmth. A touch of hop burn. Finish has a touch of old school dipa bitterness. Very good.

PapaSkeetSkeet (1174) - Providence, Rhode Island, USA - NOV 5, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2019 Can from a friend. Apricot-colored, moderately cloudy with a cm of medium-fine cream-colored head that fades moderate-fast. Aroma is medium-darkness caramel malt, lemon rind, rich onion, bit of grapefruit, bit of candy, some grassy-foresty hops, some dusty grain. Body is medium weight, very oily, medium-light carbonation, fat, moderate-light burn, semi-creamy. Flavor is onion and sweet orange, bit of banana, some melon (papaya really comes through!). Bit of guava. Alcohol is noticeable and hot. This is a very interesting flavor for an IPA - the fruit is distinctly melon-centered with less of the POG flavors. The aroma is a bit underwhelming unfortunately, and the grain comes through too much there, but the caramel malt melds well in the flavor. This was canned only 14 days ago and has been refrigerated; no idea why there's not a more pungent aroma in this DIPA. One thing that it has going for it: the flavor is incredibly smooth. Moderate bitterness (earthy resin, some pine) in the finish. I am surprised this has as high of a rating as it does.

pdog555 (865) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 4, 2019
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2019 Pours mustard yellow with low carbonation and a frothy white head. Aroma of guava and bright fruit. Taste has strong malt base with muted hop bite. Palate has pervasive hop bite with pineapple and tropical fruits. Refreshing, nice lingering bite.

jredmond (10179) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 1, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2019 July 2019 backlog. Can shared at Ryans. Pours a deep, juicy body with thick white lace. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with notes of pineapple, mango sugar, soft tropical hop and fresh lupulin powder. More booze distraction than sugar on the palate.

AirForceHops (10537) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 28, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2019 Week old can. Had side-by-side with king Julius because of the malt bill. King Julius wins hands down because it is more balanced and actually has some bitterness. Just my 2 cents. Both are good but over hyped.

jc1762 (2183) - JAPAN - JUL 14, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2019 Thanks Virby44 for the can! Taster showing turbid straw with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of mango, papaya, and NE style malt. The palate is medium bodied and moderately carbonated. Papaya forward with light notes of pine and alight bitterness.

HeadyDE (964) - Delaware, USA - JUL 11, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 11, 2019 Can recently picked up at the source, dated 7.2.19, 2 cans per person, pours a wonderfully hazy medium orange, nose is really awesome with mango, apricot, oranges, bubble gum, some sherbert, mouthfeel is light and juicy with tons of flavor, slight carbonation that fades away and coats the palate with juicy hops, wow that is tasty. Don't really taste the abv at all initially but some alcohol legs arise towards the finish, really enjoyable lingering juice presence, creamy orange sherbert tastes really come out in the end, damn good, happy to have scored a few cans

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2019 473ml can from a trade. Canned 04/12/19. Smooth, sweetish and juicy tropical fruity with some pineapple, mango, citrus and pine. Pretty nice even though it's not super fresh anymore. Quite balanced hop juice.
