COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
84 is the name of the building where our brewery is located. It used to be a dressing room for the maintenance workers of the trains and train station. This Imperial Stout is a homage for the guys that used the place before us. Cheers for the hard working middle class.

Keg at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Kensington Olympia. Black, no head. Full aroma of dark fruit and molasses. Very burnt flavour, a little thin for style, and deceptive in strength.

33 cl bottle @ home. Poured in a big Mikkeller glass, but not big enough as an enormous light brown head forms on top of a pitch black beer. The recedes pretty quickly after which the rest of the bottle can be added. Aroma’s of roasted malts, chocolate, some red fruit, lactose sweetness. Retronasal it’s sweet, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, light lactose and red fruit. Flavor is above moderate sweet, roasted. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Carbonation is on the high side, but oh well. Medium bodied. Finishes with strong roast, coffee-ish, moderate bitter. Good stuff.

Draft @ Kompaan. Pours a clear pitch black beer with a creamy tanned beige head on top Aroma of roast, touch of booze, lots of licorice and sugar. Flavor is very sweet, sugary, residual sugars and rather unbalanced. Like drinking licorice, low on carbonation, long on dry sweet aftertaste. Decent stout.
