Flavour is composed of sweet and tangy, red currant, brown sugars, tangy red cranberry, . Tangy. Palate is sweet, sticky, plum. Moderate carboantion. ok. Bottle thanks to Ken. It pours hazy deep reddish with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, oily, unctuous, raspberry, fruit cordial, cherry wine, candy, vanilla and wood. The taste is tart, tangy, sugary, raspberry, juicy, jammy, fruit cordial, fruit punch, green apple, warming alcohol and wood with a tangy fruity finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Bottle shared in London - cheers to Kenny. Pours clear reddish brown with a small, creamy off-white head. Rich semi-dark malts in the nose, tangy raspberry, jammy berries, toast. Medium to big sweet flavour with more brown bread, alcohol, raspberry, touches of vanilla. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more tangy raspberry, a little toffee. Good stuff overall.

Bodney towers bottleshare. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Raspberry jam nose. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, little dark chocolate and mild cream. Punchy raspberry, never sour. Any barrel influence is quite subtle. Riper raspberry on the warming finish. Nice.
