COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unique in taste. The secret lies in the water, which is still taken from the same well used well over 100 years ago. The water from our well is unusually pure and soft. That allows us to add a touch more hops to create the Friesian-bitter taste that distinguishes Jever Pilsner from any other beer.

PubRespek15 (81) - NORWAY - JUN 11, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2019 Jever Pils pours to a pale golden color with a light head formation of densely packed bubbles and a strikingly herbal hop nose. When visiting Germany, I always treat myself to a couple of Jevers :)

Atom (2882) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 9, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2019 Bottle pours a clear pale straw golden with a large white head. Aroma of sweet and bready malt, dry honey, and grassy hops. Sweet honey malt, with doughy yeast, and bitter grassy hops. Not bad, sweet malt and bitter hops are balanced weird on the palate.

2.5
HogTownHarry (7694) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2019 Fridge clean-out rating day! 330ml green bottle. Gusher - pale clear gold, large foamy lasting white head. It's a somewhat skunky grassy semi-sweet generic euro pils in taste and aroma - 'nuff said.

3.3
NikkTwist (4426) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 29, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2019 Draft at Moriartys. Clear gold pour with slim white foam. Grassy caramel flavors. Fuller and hoppier than most Pils. Dandelions. Honey bread crusts. Tangelos. Sticky bread dough. Peppers. Not bad but not really my style.

3.6
rja (260) - BREDA, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 26, 2019 How to rate this beer? Rate against all beer or rate against other beers in this style? I choose to rate against other Pilsener. Compared to other pilseners, this one is more hoppy, less sweet and quite bitter. Not my favourite for a cold winternight-by-the-fire but very nice and refreshing in a hot summer afternoon. Well done.

ichijo3 (179) - - MAY 13, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 14, 2019 Aus der Buddel. Riecht grasig, herb. Der Antrunk ist frisch und würzig zugleich. Grasige Aromen mit Nordseemuff. Bitter wie die deutsche Vergangenheit + einen kleinen Spritzer Zitrone. Entweder man liebts oder nicht.

1.5
GregMooreNH (1999) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 12, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2019 Pours clear light golden with a full, white head. Aroma is grass, light skunk and Saaz hops. Taste is light caramel, moving to grass and bitter hop backbone. Finish is hoppy. Meh.

3.1
MaltTasty27 (363) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 11, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2019 Flaska 330 ml från Systembolaget. Ljust guldgul med fint skum som lägger sig på insidan av glaset. Maltig doft med inslag av majs. Kraftig smak av malt med inslag av honung och frukt. Rejäl beska.

3.5
CraftBeerNick (4221) - Wokingham, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2019 Tap at Indewildeman, 9 th May 19. Pours clear and clean. Aroma is malt light citrus. Taste is classic Pils, but a good one, some bitterness, yeast and citrus, good in the Dutch sun.

3.1
MetalMurphy (1133) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 6, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 6, 2019 bottle @ supermarket (ingolstadt) golden colour, normal body, average carbonated, white head, hoppy, malty, bittersweet, easy to drink, nothing special
