rand (1860) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 12, 2017
Bottle 330 ml / Apothibières -martigny (CH). Reddish with an average pale beige head. Aromas of citrus and herbs, slight caramel, point of cleaning product. The taste is dry and bitter, elastic texture and not pleasant. Zest-herbs-pine, mineral, nothing new in the glass. Commonplace tune, it's nevertheless rare for a goldfinch.

imdownthepub (15380) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2017
Cask conditioned as Black Isle Drink at The St. Vincent Bar, Edinburgh. Gold with white head. This proved to be quite a hopped beer, fruity with a peach note and also a touch of pineapple. Nicely sessionable, easy on the palate, some sweetness. Good beer.

theprof (1299) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2017
Bottle at Henderson Vegetarian restaurant. Aroma pale malt and citrus hop. Pours amber gold. White lace. Taste light medium sweet and then medium strong bitter. Oily finish with lasting flavor. A very good session IPA in my view.

2.6
drjoeng (1418) - SINGAPORE - MAY 16, 2017
3.5%ABV. Session IPA.

Poured out slightly cloudy light amber. 12SRM.

Nose is lychee, hint of scallion funk and spicy cilantro. Predominant aroma for me is ripe lychees from Northern Thailand.

Mouthfeel soda like. Palate has soda biscuits, minerality, carbonated water. Hops are light grassy, hint of pine sap bitter.

Finish is brief, light and with a herbal mineral water finish. There’s something local which loosely translates to "snake grass water", also called oldenlandia water this has quite a few elements of that with carbonation, mineral body, herbal, grassy finish.

Overall, not a very memorable beer. Your calories are better spent elsewhere, methinks.

Grumbo (4114) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2017
Bottle from the Adnams shop in Woodbridge. Pours almost clear amber with an average sized frothy white head which left good lacing. Aroma of hop, malt, citrus, caramel and grass. Moderate sweetness, and light to moderate bitterness. Medium to light body, texture slightly oily/watery, with average to soft carbonation. Slight floral and bitter finish. Not bad.
