Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, liquorice, molasses, black treacle. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. UPDATED: JAN 30, 2020 Rich malty dark chocolate aroma with hint of coffee and burnt wood. Superb range of flavours notably chocolate, smoke, coffee & nut. Great example of a porter.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2019 Poured from bottle into tulip glass. Malty and full of flavour. Pours a typical porter dark colour with a lasting beige head. Full bodied with hints of smoke, coffee and malty goodness. Very drinkable without being outstanding.

From bottle (BB 27July18) in tulip. Pours dark brown with thick tan head and aroma of roasted malt. Choc notes with a bit of a sour/tart bite in the finish.
