The pour is hazy orange with a small white head. The nose is caramel, corn syrup, floral notes and some citrus fruit. The taste is medium sweet and bitter. Good balance. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth, the body is medium and finish long.

750 ml bottle
A luminous cloudy yellow-gold with a billowing snow white head. The head dissipates fairly quickly but leaves behind a lot of fine lacing. The aroma from this ale is quite herbal and floral. Some crisp pale malt in the nose as well.
Very lively in the mouth. Herbal bitterness (perhaps from the woodruff?) intertwined with a citrusy and strident hoppiness. Underpinnings of a full bodied sweetish malt. Nice body for an ale that claims to be only 6% ABV. Nice carbonation scrubs the tongue as it finishes. A clean aftertaste save for the bitter hops and perhaps the herbal bitterness of the woodruff. Exceedingly drinkable and refreshing. A very unique and surprisingly well-crafted ale. Get some if you can.

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light hoppy, perfume, citrus shell, hop dusty, moderate to heavy yeasty, spicy, herbal, the sweet woodruff I assume. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 6%. Almost clear orange colour, many small floaties. Very small white head. Subtle malt base with some mild spices. The soapiness of the woodruff is quite distinct. yespr (52427) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2008
75 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden orange with a white head. Mild fruity and yeasty aroma, nice caramel malty too. Sweet fruity and light phenolic flavoured. Light berry fruity to herbal, the sweet woodruff I assume. Mild spiced and caramelish sweet finish. Quite pleasant and smooth. BoBoChamp (5753) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 8, 2008
