Love wheat beer and glad to have a local Cork one that’s some what widely available, it’s hard enough to find in cans, never seen in bottles and I’ve only had the pleasure of having it on tap once in Cork City. It was good on tap but preferred it in the can

Decent mild and nice hefe weisse. Quite session able and easy to drink.
Hazy yellow golden color with a fine white head. Wheat, some banana, yeast and mild clove. Ok balanced. Tad sweet. Ok body and a fine carbonation.
[On tap at Norseman 1696 in Dublin, Ireland]

330ml from Supervalu Newry, drank in Crossmaglen watching Eurovision. Bottled March 2015 at 4.7%. Hazy orange, sparkling, small foamy white head. Aroma is resin, bubblegum, glue, musty wheat and straw. A bit chemically and pungent. Body is medium, slightly foamy, soft carbonation. Taste is hay, resin, soft ester, dry and wheaty. Average at best.

Draft pour. The beer is a hazy gold with a big white head of foam. Very strong retention. The beer has notes of sweet fruits and dough. They claim toffee notes, but i cant pick up on them. Mild sweetness in the taste and medium carbonation.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly yeasty with dryness and mild citrus. The flavour has lengthy dryness and a mild yeasty and citrus'ness. Overall an average German style wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

allmyvinyl (10723) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 10, 2015
330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy orange, no head. Light sweet aromas. Yate brings the expected banana and light spice. Bit dull though, to be honest.

Bought at The Carry Out in Fermoy, €2.30 each for 330ml. Nice tasting but a little light compared to some other wheat beers. A lovely citrus and banana flavour comes through. Would buy again but very hard to find.

330ml bottle from Reilly’s, Lisnaskea (£1.79):
Quite a disappointing hefeweizen if I’m honest, this one was too light and thin with an fairly poor appearance as well. Thankfully the taste wasn’t a bad one with the banana and cloves flavours seeming pleasant enough but there’s plenty of much better wheat beers out there to go for over this one.

ManVsBeer (10675) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2015
Bottle from Tesco, Dublin. Hazy amber colour with a very thin head. Not the most obvious of wheat styles, it’s got a fruitiness including some citrus orange and there’s pale malts in here too. It’s quite a decent drink though.

Theydon_Bois (19788) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2014
Bottle at Mum and Dads, 25/12/14, from Dundalk Tossco. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering that soon collapses to a swirl. Nose is pear drop, banana, yeast esters, light spice, touch of caramel and vanilla. Taste comprises banana, butterscotch, clove, straw, yeast notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light woody grape notes. Ok Hefe.
