Bottle. Very hazy translucent orange with a massive white head. Bold citrus peel and yeast, lots of yeast actually, with lean malts and a very bitter finish. This is not even remotely close to an ESB. As a Belgian strong ale, it’s not bad though.

from Erzbierschof - hazy golden blond beer with a moderate foam left; solid aroma of tangerines and oranges; light yeasty, juicy and gently sourish; a good malt backbone, long tart and juicy finish of tangerines and apricots; some sweetness

Pale blond and hazy with a thin head. It tastes sharp and bitter. Lots of citrus peel. No idea why it’s described as an ESB.

Bottle. Glass. Yellow, medium hazy with moderate white, frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma is moderately malty with moderate citrusy flavors - oranges, tangerine, also some grapes and straw accents. Taste is moderately sweet and light to moderate sour/acidic with slightly Belgian notes. Medium body, creamy and oily texture, average carbonation, finish is moderately sour, zesty, crisp and refreshing. Summary: Decent brew. Very surprising - acidic, sour. The malts are almostly totally covered by the sourness and zesty notes. Nice experiment an definitely worth trying. Totally underrated here !

13/XI/16 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 8/III/18 (2016-1303)

Clear dark blond beer, small aery fizzy white head, unstable, falls down quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, some tangerines and fresh oranges indeed, little yeasty, some grapefruit juice. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty sour and lemony start, yeast, some banana peel, fruity notes, soft bitterness, lime juice. Aftertaste: sour, lemon juice, peach flavoured candy, little spicy, some tannins, yeast, little spicy. Not very convincing, just a big clash of all sorts of different flavours...

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Well, not orange in the looks directly, more golden and soft cloudy. On top there’s a medium sized lacing white head. It smells quite good. Orangey hops, pine and citrus. Nice and clean aroma - more like the name suggests. Tastes good. Mild oily in the mouth and creamy be low average on the bubbles. Really bitter and quite grassy in the taste. Bitter weeds toward the finish, slightly sour in a not super pleasant way. 14.05.2016

On tap at The Rover Gøteborg, august 4th 2016. Hazy orange body with a small white head. Aroma og sweet malt, spicy hops and dry toast. Taste is sweet malty, butterscotch and resin. Feel I’m missing out on something here. Finish is lightly bitter with bread
