Sample at the brewery taproom. Brownish pour with ruby around the edges, and a medium light tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, dark fruit, caramel and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a fruity and malty aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
