COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is a heavenly marriage of an Irish-style dry stout and an Oatmeal stout. By complimenting the dominant roasted barley accents of a dry stout with the unmistakably rich and silky finish that only oatmeal can provide.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2019 473ml can with new and improved label. Pours a clear dark mahogany with red hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate and ash. Semi-sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, ash and light oats in a dry, bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a smooth oily texture and average carbonation. Didn't exactly blow my hair back, but it's ok.

Aroma is toasted oats , caramel and black licorice. Taste is dark roasted malts ,caramel, and a mild bittering hop finish. Pretty standard.

Bottle from Jasper wine & liquor store. Pours thick and black, superb chocolate and roast malt aroma, oily and rich on the tongue with a smooth subtle finish. Mighty fine.

Love this beer and finally got it in saskatchewan. Pours black with a good inch tan head. Aroma is roasted and chocolate malt. Nice roasted malt and hint of chocolate flavour. Only down side is it could be darker and more complex. Body is a bit light. Don’t understand the organic gimmick but top each their own. Cheers!

Clear deep dark amber, foamy tan head settles and mostly lasts. Rich sweet aroma of chocolate and dark toasty malt. In contrast the first sip is sharp bitter coffee bean, followed by bittersweet dark roasted chocolate malts, some nuttiness. Soft smooth carbonation, medium-full body, moderately hopped. Clean coffee ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours black with tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, and dark chocolate make up the aroma. Tastes is very roasty, some coffee but not alot of depth. Medium low mouthfeel, some bitterness in the finish. Not a bad stout but not impressive either

Nice sweet vanilla aroma. But the taste was not great. Roasty but thin and not a lot of flavour.

Pretty average stout. aromas of roasted malt. Some nice fruitiness. Pretty thin palate. Toasty malts... some sour berry.. But watery. Not great.

Bomber. Can’t believe this is my first by Nelson. Very dark brown, beige dissipating head. Nose is smoke, roast, coffee. Flavour is smoke, black coffee, oats, almost acrid. Palate is very thin, especially considering the oats. Carbonation is very low. I ALMOST really liked this one, but fell flat in a couple of ways.
