AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20Biggish beige head. Nearly opaque black body shows a bright red
spot when held up against the sun. Roasty chocolatey aroma with
mealy grainy earthy notes. Sweetish roasty earthy chocolate taste
with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish
roasty earthy chocolate aftertaste with honey notes. Really
nice. Highly drinkable, harmonic, and clean, with a strong
flavour. (0.36l bottle, Systembolaget Nordstan, Göteborg.)

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2019 On tap at Ibrew Akihabara. Pours a pitch black color with a small white head. A nice roasty nose. Deep roast, vanilla, bitter chocolate. Awesome.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2019 Roasty, dark chocolate. Ceresl malty, low bitterness but not sweet. Coffelike bitter finish.

Tap at the Spektral Lounge, Makati. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is caramel roasty malt, liqouirce, charcoal woody hop. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth rich dry woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet caramel and lots of roasty malt characteristics. One of the better Baird beers I’ve had.

Bevuta in bottiglia. Ottimo aspetto nera con bella schiuma color noce. Al naso le note di tostato caffè e nocciola non sono molto spiccate ma si sentono. In bocca ben equilibrata si sente bene il Malto tostato con un finale leggermente secco ma di buona bevuta.

Drinked in bottle bb 7.7.18 on the nose soft cream, vanilla, some milk chocolate. In mouth is light bodied, very balanced and drinkable, a full creamy flavour with a soft dry finish. Good one

330ml bottle. Pours black colour. Thin white head. Caramel, notes of chocolate, spices, hints of smoke in the aroma. Smoke, bitter chocolate in the taste. Bit plain and dry finish. Smoke in the aftertaste. Quite spicy and sharp but mellow. at the same time. Silky texture. Rather light bodied, quite well balanced stout.

330ml bottle. Pours black, tan bubbly head. Roasty coffee, dark chocolate, sweet aroma. Taste is roasty, bit watery, mildly hoppy, some coffee. Tart fruity note in aftertaste. Dry crisp finish. Light to medium body, average carbo. Drinkable, easy brew, not bad.
