Flaska. Bärnstensfärgad öl med smutsvitt skum som tar evigheter att sjunka ihop såpass att det blir möjligt att dricka. Dofter av karamell, citrus, malt och riktigt sur rabarber. Smakinslag av citrus, jäst och gräs. Rejält syrlig i eftersmaken. Medel mot liten kropp.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden body under a small, firm, off-white head. Fruity, peachy nose with some dried fruits and a faint milkysour touch. Some sourness in the flavor too, as well as peaches and fruityness. Not much bitterness going on. Medium body, quite dry. Well, not my choice of beer, that’s for sure. Might be better just after release from the brewery, but it certainly hasn’t been doing well with a few months of cellaring. 120623

MPA (1101) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - JUL 31, 2011
Bottle (from the november 2005 RB-tasting at Dixens place - notes have been damaged by flooding of my basement, but this was such an insane tasting for me as I was new to such massive tastings, so I gave up on the detailed notes quite early). Acidic, hoppy aroma. Quite bland flavour. All I could read...

Cloudy orange amber beer. Dry frothy palate. Fresh light malt with a citrussy sherbet carbonated bite! Dry finish. Creamy malt aftertaste.
