Bov (12888) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 9, 2017
courtesy of Philipp Sigg - dark beer without foam; aroma of molasses; very sweet, thin-bodied, syrupy chocolatey finish with notes of brown sugar - works somehow

mauroruellas (798) - GETULINA, BRAZIL - AUG 28, 2015
líquido escuro, creme médio, carbonatação baixa,no aroma caramelo pronunciado, sabor adocicado,um pouco exagerado, para os apreciadores do estilo esta na média.

Can @ home. Thanks, John. Very dark brown pour with a tan head. Sweet and sugary on the nose. Some bread, caramel, and a lot of oxidation. A bunch of cardboard in particular. The flavor is super, super sweet. Disgustingly, so. A ton of raisin, grape, and caramel sauce. Slight cardboard oxidation and some hints of grass. No thanks.

Bela formação de creme castanho, bastante denso. Líquido castanho escuro, opaco. Bonito também. Aroma doce, caramelado. Um pouco de álcool. Agradável. Suave. No primeiro gole tudo azedou...

chinchill (5073) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 14, 2014
355 ml bottle bought and consumed in Manaus Brazil. Pours near black with a decent head and good lacing. Aroma is sweet but still the high sweetness level in the flavor comes as a bit of a surprise. Way too sweet and syrupy, and I have more tolerance for this than many beer aficionados.

ogivlado (7856) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 16, 2014
Bottled 355ml. -from some shop in Manaus. Straight from the bottle. Not much difference between this and Brahma Malzbier. Heavy sweetness, some roasty notes and quite syrupy with sweet finish.

dwyerpg (6218) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 12, 2014
This is a sweet dunkel, lots of chocolate flavor, definitely not a swarchbier. Looks excellent. Good but too sweet. Still may be the best of the Brazilian malzbiers I’ve had.

Panzerfaust (856) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - JUN 8, 2014
I really didn’t enjoy this one. This is a sweetness bomb, like your regular dark lager with loads of saccharine, Stevia and refined sugar added to the can. Nothing more than dark sugars is detected in the mix. The aroma is malty and adjuncts (corn syrup most likely). It feels very thick in the mouth... I wouldn’t drink it again or any of these Brazilian Malzbiers. It might be someone else’s cup of tea though.

DrAlexandre (22) - Anapolis, BRAZIL, BRAZIL - JUN 11, 2013
Dark beer and black Foam rare and short-lived Overly sweet caramel taste with very sharp! No perception of hops. Cloying and low drinkability! Not good!

sseb69 (1911) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 3, 2013
Cannette, 4.2%. Achetée au Brésil. Couleur brune foncé, mousse beige. Arôme de sucre brun et toffee. En bouche, très très sucrée, mélasse, cassonnade, toffee, malt. Difficile à terminer.
