COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To continue our 4th Anniversary celebration, we brewed an extra kettle hop and extra dry hopped version of King Julius! The result is an incredibly intense citrus hop blast unlike anything we’ve experienced here at Tree House. Mango, orange, and sweet grapefruit are predominant in the aroma with hints of pineapple and blended tropical fruit juice. The taste mirrors the aroma with a juicy mouthfeel and a proper bitterness. Fluffy. This beer challenges the senses and rewards the palate as it warms in the glass. Complex, raw, and beautiful, the amplified King is a beer we are excited to share with you to celebrate four years of Tree House. Thank you!

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2019 Pours a very hazy, dark orange, with mid-sized head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is very dank, with loads of citrus (orange, especially), some tropical fruit. Flavor is just a touch chalky, with citrus, tropical fruit, a soft, sweet mouthfeel, and a light bitterness from the hops in the finish. Really good.

16 oz. can. I am aware that this a bit old at this point. Pours a very hazy orange. Smells of orange and tropical hops. Strong sweet pale maltiness. A bit of booze. Tastes just a little bit one-note, but that one note is really nice. Mostly mango, melon, and peach. Pushes more towards citrus as the slightest bit of bitterness builds. Seems like it will become sweet, but never does. Malty nonetheless. Medium heavy. I started drinking this thinking it wasn’t great, probably because it isn’t fresh, but this drinks really nicely. Maybe it doesn’t pop the way it used to, but it’s still exceptional.

Very murky and cloudy wheaty IPA. Nice hop flavor, no bitterness, just highly drinkable.

Shared at an Ann Arbor get together at Jeff’s on July 20. 16 oz can. The pour is the most turbid juice you’ve ever seen. It’s everything I love about a new-school east coast IPA. The aroma is magical. There is so much juiciness to it. The dry to this makes it taste really unlike anything I’ve ever had before. It’s crazy. The juiciness and the strong hop really just bring it together. The flavor is much of the same. It’s so juicy and fresh. It’s like I’m chewing on an orange with a blast of citra hop sprinkles on top. It’s really, really good. The mouth feel is thin and crisp with a bright carbonation and a beautifully juicy and crisp aftertaste. This is one I didn’t know I’d get to try at all. Damn it’s good!
