Pours pitch black, topped with medium sized beige head, semi lasting. Medium coffee nose, not so strong on roastiness with some chocolate notes which are very pleasant. Moderate sweetness with milk chocolate, gentle coffee and some bitterness. Medium body. Very nice, I like thst coffee is present but very held back.

Bottle. Blackish coloured beer with a strong light brown coloured head. The aroma is lightly roasted with an oaty and bread element. The flavour is bitter with mild coffee bean roastedness and a slight yeasty element. Overall a good stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2018 330 ml bottle from the Great Beer Experiment, poured into a pint glass. Appearance is jet black, topped with two fingers of light tan froth which disappears quite quickly and retains only a thin ring. Description says this was brewed with Rwandan coffee, hope it is fair trade ones lol. Aroma is strongly thick rich espresso coffee, with some cocoa and chocolate notes. Taste is similar, coffee through and through, but without the bitterness, as the cocoa flavours maintain the balance. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel, maintained a through to the finish.

On tap at Samo Pivo, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of cold brew, light roast and some cocoa. Flavour is robust, with lots of cold brew, some roast, and cocoa. Rich and robust. Nicely done.

0.33l [email protected]: bramling cross hop with herbal, orange zest/marmelade-like notes + cold coffee + chocolate-ish malt backbone = good pairing with tiramisu
