COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

0,33 l bottle. Thanks again to Jan-Gerd and Kristall-König. Unclear golden, a lot of smaller sediments, one finger white head. Low grape and mango fruity and honey on the nose. Taste starts with a pleasent bitterness, floweresque hop, followed by a more grainy section.Caramell and hints of honey in the background. Mid grainy bitterness in the aftertaste. Yes, enjoyable stuff.

A strong smell if grapefruit, light sour touch of citrus. The head is white foamy and with a normal duration and size. The body is cloudy and orange. A dry and bitter taste, fruity, the finish is a little bit metallic. The body is light to medium strong, very dry with a normal carbonation.

bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 24, 2017
33cl bb02/2017, Maruhn preXmas. - The Vikings are back and prowling the Germanic South... (cf. NL: Walhalla Loki Golden Ale). - Sweetish fruit&grainy aroma of butter-roasted cornflakes, cooked stone fruit, sweet apple, lemon jelly. An uncouth butteriness in flavour as well, almost Bohemian/Oberpfalz-style, then an intense herbal and citrus pithy, cooked resinous bitterness. Unbalanced, con brio.
