Svesse (8284) - Hsselby, SWEDEN - MAR 11, 2017
(Draught at Bishops Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 10 Dec 2016) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange marmalade, resin, citrus peel and a touch of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus peel, orange marmalade, caramel, apricots, resin and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in a finish with a touch of alcohol. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Powerful and a bit boozy, but really tasty with a good hop presence. Very nice.

RexTalionis (3669) - FINLAND - MAR 4, 2017
Bottle. Hazy orange in color with a whitish head. Some grapefruity bitterness, sweet fruityness, ripe tropical fruits and citrus in aroma. Quite dry mouthfeel. Grassy notes in taste, some fruity sweetness and boozy vibes too. Bit of malts here too. Well hopped anyway and has got a quite bitter finish, which saves this brew.

January 2017 - Bottle share at Leightons. Thanks Leighton! As Lervig Brewers Reserve Sverd i Fjell, 10.5%. Vibrant dark amber pour, hazy, foamy white head, dotted lacing. Aroma is orange and mixed spice. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is tangerine, resinous, boiled sweets, alcohol. Quite simple sweet and boozy. (3.3)

Expected more hoppyness, but lacks aroma and bitterness. Has plenty of sweetness, though. Too much to my taste.

Opaque, copper, weak white head. Smell is grapefruit and pineapple, bit of resin and caramel. Yoghurt, fresh cheese. Taste is full and oily, keenly bitter with a heavy honey sweetness. Nice, very ipa, but a bit boring.

Norwegians Come To Chelmsford To Drink Their Own Beer Crawl... Golden hazy colour with excllent and consistent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit; sherbet sweets and hey. Taste is grapefruit; mangos; starburst; jelly beans and tutti-fruit. Dry with sugarcane on the finish. Not oxidised. Super-clean. Rounded finish with balance. Excellent late hopping. Clean and insanely drinkable for the abv. Super soft malts. Abv is incredibly deceptive. Bottled format, The Ale House, Chelmsford.
