UPDATED: DEC 26, 2019 # 646; 2/2017. Krásně vyvážený nakuřovaný pivo. Výrazné uzené tóny se snoubí příchutí višní a švestek. Parádní záležitost! EugeneStraver (443) - Nootdorp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 25, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2019 Home. 50 cl bottle. BB 11/2018. A nice fine light brown foam layer. Bier is brilliant amber colored with later some cloudiness from the bottle. Aroma is reasonable smokey like meat/fish, dark malt, little wood and nuts. Taste is dark malt, smokey, sweetness. Became somewhat bitter from the smoked malt. Also some hop bitterness. Smoky character stay in the taste. Also light sweet sticky. Some nuts. Good Balance. CanCrusher (1465) - Ilirska Bistrica, SLOVENIA - DEC 1, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2019 Bottle 0,50L. Clear, ruby red color with huge, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of smoked ham, wood and spices. Taste starts light sweet and malty with smokey notes. Finish is still sweet with smoked ham touch. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. A bit lighter version of smoked beer, but very well rounded and nicely ballanced. rozsoma (1823) - Gyõr, HUNGARY - NOV 17, 2019

500ml bottle in 2015. Deep brown and hazy with a dense offwhite head. Aroma of big smoke, cured meat, smoked fish and dark malts. There’s some sweeter fruity notes in the flavour that mix nicely with the smokiness. Another winner.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2019 Reddish brown beer, nice beige head, stable and durable, active crackling. immediate smoked aromas, with wood and hop. Like the taste, smoked malt, smoked ham, slight bitter of wood and notes of walnuts and caramel-licorice. Perfect balance, without excess of smoked, sweetened or too powerful. Admirable with bavarian delicatessen. freekyp (3403) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 23, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2019 Schlenkerla's entire lineup is exceptional, but Lentbier is the pinnacle of old world German craft. A unfiltered malty masterpiece, the aroma swirls between deep breadiness, caramel malts, fireplace smoke and yeast. The smoke is right there at the front of every quaff, but despite its strength, leaves room for the malty character to take center stage. The clean long smoky semi sweet fade ebbs away allowing just a nip of spicy hops to arrive just in time to lend balance. I find myself wanting to take huge gulps, to fill every corner of my mouth with this mahogany magnificence. Scenes of black forest lumberjacks carving through ancient beech trees in a darkening twilight during the high medieval period are entirely appropriate for this session. This beer takes you on a journey. Amazing. wlajwl (8808) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 1, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2019 Aroma is pure BBQ smoke and wood. The flavor is smoked malts, caramel, slight leather, fruit/dark fruit and a long and mild bubblegum/sweetish finish. alex_leit (9263) - Minsk, BELARUS - AUG 18, 2019

Tastes like I oversmoked my spare ribs on the WSM. Malty background. Long lasting smokey aftertaste. Smooth. Everything as its has to be.
