Bottle from Beers of the World, Geneva. Light amber pour with a modest head. Pleasantly assertive nose. Orange marmalade and some peachy stone fruit. Light toasted grain husk. Just a bit of burnt brown sugar. Initially drinks a bit sweet. Apricot and more burnt brown sugar. Finishes quite dry and fairly bitter. Mellow peppered pine accents. Somewhat chalky with very strong carbonation.

anstei (2610) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - AUG 2, 2017
Bottle from Beers’n’more. Pours almost clear brownish amber with a medium head and a satisfactory retention. Aroma is mostly pine and forest floor, with some citric and tropical fruit aromas behind. Body is light, a bit thin, but quite punchingly bitter. Some malt sweetness hiding beneath that, but still feels more like a SIPA than an APA. Light resin flavours, caramel. Palate lingers on bitterness, far back on the gums. Okay.

Bière construite sur les arômes de cinq houblons (cascade - chinook - colombus - centennial - galaxy), elle a un goût prononcé et un parfum caractéristique. Agréable bien qu’un peu acide.

Citrus fruits, grapefruit, lemon, pale grain malts, straw. Hazy gold, massive, frothy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter citrus fruits, lemon, grapefruit, more grain malts, bread dough, soft carbonation, medium bodied. OK APA, refreshing, could do with some more complexity. Bottle from Drinks of the World, Bern.

Sampled draft @ Brussels Beer Project. Clear orange, creamy off-white head. Nose is hand soap, caramel & oily USA tropical hops clashing with sweetness. Taste is weird soap, very big esters, oddly almost BE profile, juniper bitterness, faint jenever-like notes, more esters, bitter BE esters, hop notes from the smell are drowned out. Body is esters, juniper, USA fruity hops. Weird, not what I would expect from APA with this hops, I would see this more coming from a small middling BE brewery.
