PhillyCraft (10472) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 8, 2019 Bottle and Cask, amber brown with a medium head. Notes are toffee, malt, cocoa, floral hops, and English Earth. Medium bodied with a creamy finish especially on cask. Enjoyable and drinkable beer but most ESB's are. Cheers

bilcho1 (950) - Ruse, BULGARIA - FEB 14, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 14, 2019 500ml bottle drunk at home on a Valentine's Day in the evening. Pours clear with a thick pillow of rocky head that soon settled to the surface, heavy lacing and persistent rising carbonation. Rusty dark amber in colour. On the nose, intense caramel malts, slight basementy mold and rotten fruit, hints of floral honey. In the mouth, mid bitterness from the start, strong malty flavours consistent with the aromas, minimal sweetness, fairly thin texture, lower than average carbonation with a short finish leading into a bitter metallic aftertaste. Overall, an old-school Bitter, great-looking, strongly malty and heavily bitter but lacking body and hoppy flavours.

archeolog (208) - Lodz, POLAND - DEC 15, 2018
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2018 Piwo klarowne o ciemnobursztynowej barwie. Średniej wielkości, jasnokarmelowa piana o niedługiej trwałości. W aromacie słodowa słodycz. Trunek pełny, średniowysycyony. W smaku słodowo, na finiszu kawowo. Nic ciekawego. Nudny, słodzony ale.
