Starke, schwere Röstaromen und trockene Bitterkeit im Hintergrund. Starker, individueller Charakter, doch mir zu stark dunkle Schokolade. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Davros IX (885) - Hertford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2018
Bottle from Waitrose in Canary Wharf. I got this at the perfect temperature and the rich smell of burnt malt was very inviting. The taste was that of rich burnt malt with a velvety smoothness that was lacking from the S&N version that I had the day before. The taste was long and lingered in my mouth after every mouthful and I was sad when I reached the final sip. A proper English stout. Hurrah.

ManVsBeer (13870) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2018
Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Extremely dark with a frothy off-white head. Has mild floral roasted malts and a hint of chocolate.

nihtila (4677) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 22, 2017
Bottle from Asda. Dark brown. Nose is chocolate, roasted malts, light liquorice, toffee. Tastes roast, light coffee, dryish cocoa, dry bitter. Nothing wrong but light roasted and dryish stouts are not my thing.

nybol (3367) - DENMARK - JUL 13, 2017
fyldig aroma af mørk malt, som giver en god sødme. smager også af kaffe og lakrids. Den har dog en lethed over sig som gør at man godt kan drikke mere end en.

popiela (1347) - Poznañ, POLAND - JUN 23, 2017
Butelka. W aromacie przyjemnie, gorzka czekolada i kawa. W smaku podobnie. Intensywne, dobre.

LazyPyro (3460) - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2016
550ml bottle from Ocado. Almost black with a long lasting tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, sweet chocolate, toffee. Taste is bittersweet from the chocolatey and roasted coffee-like malt, caramel, toffee, hints of dark fruit. Smooth. Pretty nice.

wheresthepath (2685) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2016
Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. Black with a thin beige head. Chocolate, malt, toffee, roastiness. Roastiness and bitterness grows in the finish, with a bit of plum coming through. Decent stout.

Sjohnh (1056) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2015
Perfectly drinkable, tasty, commercial stout. Dark and glossy, with a tan head as thick and fluffy as cotton wool. Good aroma, leading into a taste with sweet chocolate and milky coffee. Medium body, nice.

MrBlueSky93 (524) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2015
Bottle from GingRealAleTrail. Pours dark brown, ruby tinge, half finger tan head. Aroma of coffee, loads of it, a blend of coffee types almost. Sweetness, Chocolate...Taste of initial coffee, sugary sweetness, caramel, toffee, chocolate, orange, berries, some spice too. Very nice!
