Hazy amber pour - this wasnt the top of the bottle but still looks nice crowned with a tight head. Fruity aroma, peachy. Lovely light palate. Mellow and fruity in the mouth. Characterful, but a very easy drinker.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, rye, barley, and a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of barley, rye, straw, and lemons, leading to a dry finish.

Roodbruin bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht fruitig met iets van een houtachtige smaak.

Bottle from The Brewery Shop, Berkhamsted, care of my big sister. Pours dirty rusty brown, hazy with a huge slightly off white head. Nose is loads of delicious toasted rye grains, grapefruit and orange peel, pine, that fruity musty rye grain aroma, tropical fruit guava and slight bubblegum. Taste is caramel, toasted rye grains, grapefruit and orange peel, soft fruits, pine, guava, bubblegum. This is really delicious.

Bottle, 330 ml from Pivoteka. Courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Pours hazy orange, small particles, medium off white head. Malty, caramel, honey?, some fruity notes, sweetish, bitterish finish. Medium bodied. Average+ carbonation.

330ml bottle pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and caramel with some spicy notes. Taste is a caramel malty sweetness with a citrus and spicy bitterness finishing quite dry. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a well balanced and tasty amber ale that is recommended.

Borefts VIII. Keg. Lightly hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Mildly spicy rye malts, sweetish too. Becomes almost a perfumey spice. Orange peel hops. Light dry finish. Not bad.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, fresh tropical fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth woody metallic hop citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

A slow gusher and difficult foamy pour. Aroma has some rye, metal and floral notes. Flavour is a bit too bitter.
