UPDATED: FEB 9, 2020 Bottle pour @ MBWAC 2020, Copenhagen. Loads of raspberries, mild sourness, tart funky notes, vinous grapes, berries and hints of vanilla. Quite well balanced and tasty, not as intense as Framboos Puur but vanilla adds a nice touch. Good stuff.

SimonBlok (1732) - Groningen, NETHERLANDS - NOV 23, 2019
UPDATED: JUN 17, 2020 15cl from bottle at Wild Festival, Groningen. Appearance: ruby red with a stable, medium sized pink head. Aroma: wow. Lots of raspberry, followed by vanilla, bretty, even a dose of sweet spice (probably from the vanilla), lemon, rather funky and a trace of cinnamon. Taste: slightly above medium sweetness, medium bitter- and tartness. Notes of fresh raspberry, quite fleshy and green, vanilla, bretty, some lemon and more. So complex. Palate: medium bodied, watery to oily texture and lively carbonation. Finish is ever so slightly dry. Overall: Oh man, was I happy to finally try my first Bokke. I tried being non-biased, and I have to say: this review is unbiased. I truly never tasted a framboise that came close to this. I wasn't even a fan of framboises, until now. This is by far the best framboise I've ever had. The flavours resemble the fresh fruits and vanilla so well. So much flavours and aromas going on that I can not describe. A whole new level of lambics for me. I hope to find a sample or bottle of this amazing stuff again one day.

50belair (4483) - Florida, USA - OCT 9, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2019 Bottle. Clear light reddish pour with a white head. Light raspberry bouquet. Really sour with huge tart raspberry highlights that give way to vanilla and vinous notes. Good body and mouthfeel.

2.8
ctipping (4084) - Florida, USA - OCT 9, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2019 750 mL bottle. Pours red with a medium white head. Smells of raspberry, vanilla, deep vinous acidity, and oak. Tastes quite sour. Sour raspberry and red wine. Vanilla is less prominent. Oaky and dry back end. Intensely sour back end. Kinda tough to drink. I don't get the hype.
