La Trappe Tripel’s aroma is slightly malty and estery. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.
Ingredients: Water; Barley malt; Hops; Yeast. 17.5°

JorgeLee (2622) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2019
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2019 Bottle, from the source. Light golden colour, bright, white foam. Pretty solid tripel, quite yeasty, soft feel, bready malt, low to medium bitterness. It’s nice but somehow didn’t stand out for me, I think I like their darker efforts more.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2019 La Trappe Tripel is being evaluated as a Belgian Tripel (2015 BJCP category 26C) offering according to the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines.  La Trappe Tripel is a genuine Trappist beer brewed at the Bierbrouwerij de Koningshoeven in the Netherlands.  The beer has been brewed within the monastery's walls under the supervision of Trappist monks of the Cistercian order since 1884.  Belgian Tripels, as described by the BJCP Style Guidelines, are light-colored, strong ales demonstrating generous yeast derived flavors of phenolics and esters while yet being a 'surprisingly drinkable beverage'.

kluczbork (954) - Wroclaw, POLAND - FEB 13, 2019
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2019 Bottle. Aroma- quite weak, some fruity esters, subtle peach and lollipop sweetness. Pale, sunny, clear, with a medium head. Taste- better, but still not very intensive. Light maltiness, a bit more yellow fruits from Belgian yeast, quite dry, without any bitterness. Low-bodied, with a medium-low carbonation. There's nothing wrong in this Tripel, but it doesn't make an impression to me.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2019 One of my more preferred tripels. The body is more round and full, akin to a dubbel, but still it is a quite bitter beer. Craft beer store Dresden

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2019 Tres bonne triple.

MasDen (1007) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 19, 2019
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2019 The aroma of fruit esters, pear, some spices. Amber color, small foam, very transparent. Fruit esters, pear, alcohol sticks out a little, which leaves a rather alcoholic finish. The body is medium to dense, smooth, moderate carbonation.

ricardostercios (314) - - JAN 17, 2019

Rostad eftersmak.
