Pours hazy brown, with thick head. The scent is sweet, lemonade like. Strawberries come to mind. The taste is sweet, the carbonation is high. Notes of prunes and dates. Belgian like beer.

Hazy brown color with off-white head. Aroma of spicies, wheat, vegetables. Taste is medium sweet with wheat and yeastery notes. Long bitter finish. Very interesting beer. Probably getting other kind of expressions next time I drink this. I liked this beer.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2017 Speciel juleøl. Tilpas med sødme, men savne lidt smag af jul. Flot farve og skum.

mikkellund42 (913) - DENMARK - JAN 2, 2017

DraftDodger (1734) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2016
Copenhagen 18/12 2016. 50cl bottle from Meny. The green labeled version with a Funky hippie Santa gulping Beer. Pours cloudy light brown with off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderat lacing. Aroma is surprisingly sharp with a hardedged bitterness. Alcoholl comes clearly through. Moderate sweetness with caramel and brown sugar in the background. Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is quite sweet and boozy. Followed by sharp sourness. Sour sweet aftertaste. Quite boozy Christmas Beer with too many of the characteristics for Danish Strong Beer - like too much sweetness and a bit too rough sourness. Not very funky.
