UPDATED: MAR 26, 2023 Bottle. Clear orange, amber body under a one finger sized, dense tan head. A bit mild aroma with malt, some caramel and hint of dry fruit. Taste is medium sweet malt, some caramel, some dry fruit and a spicy touch. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not what I consider a brown ale and not much funk to find either. More like a decent, average beer somewhere in between a pale ale and a Belgium dubbel.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2022 Strange tart aroma. Cloudy light brown with a long lasting tanned head. Medium sweet & light tart taste. Full bodied, oily texture & soft carbonation.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2021 Draught at Aarhus Street Food Hazy brown with a red slight red tint, small tan head. Aroma is sweet yeasty, notes of dried fruit, reminds me of St Bernardus. Taste is very sweet malty with notes of various spices, slight bitter finish. Texture is foamy. Not bad, but too sweet for me with not enough depth to balance the sweetness. 5-3-6-3-12

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2020 Dark brown with huge pale brown head. Aroma spices, Taste spices, christmas cake, sweetness.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2020 Look: Pours almost clear amber with a medium quite quick gone offwhite head. Nose: Malts, grain, butter. Taste: Malts, a tiny note of licorice, medium bitterness that stays in the mouth. Overall: A nice drinkable xmas beer - I would prefer it with food.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2020 500ml bottle carried back home from Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. A beige head resting on top of a cloudy orange body. Crocheted lacing. Promising smell of caramel and dusty hops. Caramel up front to the taste buds, added by a apricot bite, lightly spiced. Ends dry and smooth with a little warmth from the alcohol. Pleasing.
