Kauge (2381) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 21, 2018
Bottle as a gift from Helsinki; had it already a while ago. BB 16.10.2018. Fairly pleasant pumpkin aroma with all the spices coming along nicely, tastes mildly sweet of the pumpkin, plus a mild spiciness. The finish however turns kinda murky-dirty - I did manage to pour a bit of the sediments in, I admit. Nice and light, crisp, the booze is rather well integrated. Would go great with some pumpkin-infused dessert. I'm quite enjoying this, must be among the nicer pumpkin ales I've had. (I'm not a big fan of the style.)

[email protected]ä, Tampere, Finland. Bold nuances of pumpkin, cinnamon and bit bitter malts. Averagely balanced. Medium taste spectrum and short aftertaste with slightly bitter malts and slight fruits. Medium/light body with medium/light carbonation. Overall, organic and bit messy still great quality. 8 4 8 4 18

Bottled 330ml (Alko web)
Deep amber-copper colour, small white head and lace. Clove spicey aroma, some sweetness, when warms up, yeastyness. Medium-bodied. Flavor is malty and sweetish with some alcohol kick and spices (pepper, clove). Spicey aftertaste. Not too bad, better than expected. Brewing this to high as 8% makes these pumpkin beers more interesting.

Sample @Olutexpo 2016. Deep golden color with a thin white head. Pumpkin really shows here. Pumpkin, spices, malt, hops. One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve has.
